National Student Survey

Wednesday 12 August 2015

The Royal College of Music has achieved outstanding results in the 2015 National Student Survey.

The results of the survey, show that the RCM has achieved the joint-highest percentage of students satisfied with the "overall quality of the course" across all UK conservatoires, and the highest of London conservatoires.

The excellence of our professors and teaching staff was highlighted in particular, with 92% of students reporting they were satisfied with the "teaching of the course", the highest figure across all UK conservatoires.

The 2015 NSS figures, published by the Higher Education Funding Council for England, follow the Royal College of Music's success in the 2014's Research Excellence Framework, when the RCM was shown to be the London conservatoire with the highest percentage of world-leading research. This was further supported by the 2016 Guardian University Guide, which named the RCM as the UK's top place to study music.
