Welcoming Nicola Benedetti

On Tuesday 4 February star violinist Nicola Benedetti visits the RCM to lead a special masterclass with top RCM string players.

We’re delighted to welcome Nicola back following her last very well-received RCM masterclass in November 2012.  Winner of the 2004 BBC Young Musician of the Year competition, she has established herself as one of the world’s most sought-after violinists, and was recently awarded an MBE for her work with musical charities.

As well as working with three talented RCM violinists, we are delighted to announce that the event will also feature Nicola in conversation with RCM Head of Strings Mark Messenger and include a Q&A session with audience members and online viewers.

Once again we will be bringing this masterclass to a world-wide audience by streaming the event live online via www.rcm.ac.uk/live, as part of our Spring Season of RCM Live events.

Nicola Benedetti’s Violin Masterclass takes place in the RCM’s Amaryllis Fleming Concert Hall at 10am on Tuesday 4 February. Tickets cost £5 and can be booked via the RCM events website or the RCM Box Office on 020 7491 4314.
